This F3:NV footage leaves me feeling strangely depressed. That New Vegas strip scene felt lifeless and the design looked pretty bad. No where near as consistent as downtown Washington DC in F3. In fact it looked a heck of a lot like a post apocalyptic version of a bloody Second Life area!
The companion wheel seems like a fine idea (I disliked companions in F3, didn’t really play with them at all), but other than that it really DOES look like a big fat F3 mod. And weapons upgrades? Come on, we’ll all find the best combo we like and probably just stick with that for 80% of the game.
I’m such a F3 fan I’ll probably pick it up anyway, but can’t see myself pre-ordering it and playing it on day one.
